Another Sony Ericsson phone, Codenamed Remi has leaked. It shares a great deal of the Walkman-branded Sony Ericsson looks and insides. Looks like the Walkman and the T-series will compete for the affiliation of Remi. The Unofficial SE Blog call the Remi the “new T610″. As of now we are simply not sure what the market name of the Remi will be.


The Sony Ericsson SO706i from is a new clamshell that comes in three basic color versions (white, golden pink and black) as well as in lots of other girly-colored versions, packed with countless wallpapers that have floral motifs. The features include: a 2.8″ TFT internal display with 262K colors and a 240 x 427 pixel resolution, external LEDs for incoming calls, messages or emails, GSM and HSDPA connectivity, mobile TV, advanced email and Web capabilities (Flash Lite 3.0 support), Google Maps, Google search integration, a 2 Megapixel camera (autofocus, video recording), pre-installed games, and lots of other useful applications. Memory can be expanded with a microSD card, up to 2GB.
Sony Ericsson C905 employs quite a few innovations product of the company. It is the first slider from the Cyber-shot series and the first non-smartphone equipped with WiFi. Aside from the DLNA support, which for example, lets you view wirelessly the pictures from the phone on the TV. The top model is equipped with GPS, to make orientation easier.
Sony Ericsson C905’s design really reminds us of the pocket digital cameras. Even though it is a slider, that is hard to notice it since the phone creates the impression that it is one whole. Its size and weight definitely make it unfit for the “compact” class, but that can be expected from a phone pretending to offer such functionality.
Nokia 7610 Supernova is the flagship of the Supernova series. This slider comes with a 3.2 megapixel autofocus camera with dual LED flash and a 16M color QVGA screen. The stylish slider will rely on EDGE and GPRS for its data transfers as there is no 3G support available on-board.
The HTC’s famed Raphael smartphone, launched formally recently as the HTC Touch Pro. For those familiar with the Touch Diamond, which is now shipping in several parts of the world, the HTC Touch Pro is for all intents and purposes a thicker Diamond with a full 5 row slide-out keyboard hidden inside.

The fact that the iPhone doesn’t securely erase user data when you select “Erase All Content and Settings” has prompted a lot of hand-wringing (and given rise to a lot of complicated manual workarounds) as people get ready to flip their old phones and upgrade to the iPhone 3G, but it looks like there’s a simpler solution coming: AppleInsider says the iPhone 2.0 software now securely erases user data.

Paul Miller from EngadgetMobile got his hands on the LG Dare that’s hitting Verizon Wireless today. According to his report, LG and Verizon put alot of effort on this device. Particularly with the hardware the phone seems determined to differentiate itself from its iPhone competition, with helpful tactile feedback while typing, handwriting recognition, video recording (with in slow-mo) and editing, and the beefed-up photo taking capabilities that a 3.2 megapixel sensor and built-in flash provide. Also the sturdy and bright screen, peppy EV-DO Rev A., expandable memory and a flush 3.5mm headphone jack.
Samsung J800 Luxe name sounds a bit misleading as there is nothing luxurious about the handset. The Samsung J800 Luxe is a mid-range slider with the thickness of 15mm and a 2.2-inch 256K TFT display with 176 x 220 pixels resolution.
Samsung J800 Luxe sports a 2 megapixel camera (no autofocus), features photo blog function, which allows direct image upload to blogs (over the 3G connection).
Motorola announced the release of their two new Linux powered smartphones. The Motoming A1600 and Motoming A1800, are two powerful business devices with, GPS, touchscreen and a handful of other features. There have been rumors that these phones have already been available in china, but now it is official that these two phones do exist.
