HTC has officially announced their new HTC Touch Diamond, today at a press-event in London. The HTC Touch Diamond features the updated version of HTC Touch 3D user interface — codenamed HTC Manila — which is built and designed to give the WindowsMobile 6.1 a more finger-friendlyness use. This Touch 3D UI brings a smart desktop-like render and amazing touch-navigation through website pages and hyperlinks.
HTC Touch Diamond packed with a large 2.8 inch touchscreen display, full connectivity (triband GSM and dualband WCDMA), Wi-Fi, on-board GPS, and an accelerometer for auto-rotation screen. It also armed with a 3.2 megapixel autofocus camera on its back and a video-call camera on the front. Powered by a Qualcomm MSM7201A – 528MHz processor as the brain, supported with 192MB DDR-SDRAM, and a huge 4GB internal storage.
More features are packed inside the body, including stereo Bluetooth support, FM radio, and a microUSB port which is also as an audio port.
The HTC Touch Diamond is scheduled to hit the europe market in June, and will continue to expand in more regions. Still no official information on the price.
