Like the title said, it’s a new clamshell handset from Sony Ericsson, nicknamed Alicia, which will probably join the Walkman lineup.

It is armed with two external displays, one of which coming in the rather unusual circular shape. This display also has touch-sensitive controls. With emphasis to the animations that appear on the outer and hidden display, it’s another phone that could be seen as an emotional series phone. Depending from the local services, the animations on the display will show the current weather or some nice walkman animations. The display will also show changing themes depending on the time of the day.

As of now there is very little information about the specifications of Sony Ericsson Alicia. Except for the displays, we can see that the interface will come with the latest edition of the Sony Ericsson proprietary multimedia menu and that is pretty much all. We are waiting for an official announcement to tell whether the Sony Ericsson Alicia will be an upgrade to the Sony Ericsson W980 or its downgraded more affordable version.
