Sony Ericsson announced 5 handsets today. Starting with the 8 megapixel shooter Sony Ericsson C905 Cyber-Shot, followed by the Wii-like gaming centric Sony Ericsson F305 along with three other lower midrange/low-end handsets - the S302, the K330 and the J132.
Equipped with an 8.1 megapixel camera, Sony Ericsson C905 will surely be the Cyber-shot flagship handset. Auto focus, face detection, image and video stabilization, red-eye reduction, BestPic, Smart Contrast, both a xenon flash and a photo flash, as well as geotagging complete the camera feature set. Also the Sony Ericsson C905 comes with a built-in accelerometer for screen auto rotation, TV-out port, Wi-Fi support. A 2.4-inch QVGA TFT display with scratch-resistant mineral glass cover will serve you as a viewfinder.
The Sony Ericsson C905 measures 104 x 49 x 19.5mm, and weighing at 136g. It also offers quad-band GSM/EDGE connectivity as well as UMTS and HSDPA support. Stereo Bluetooth, USB and FM radio with RDS are also on board.
The Sony Ericsson C905 will be available in Copper Gold, Ice Silver & Night Black in early Q4 2008, bundled with 2 GB Memory Stick Micro M2. No pricing information yet.
Next are the Sony Ericsson F305 and the Sony Ericsson S302. Both are lower midrange handset but the first one has some interesting gaming features to offer to the mass market.
Armed with a built-in accelerometer, the Sony Ericsson F305 offers unprecedented gaming capabilities in this price segment. The Sony Ericsson F305 has a 2-inch TFT display with a resolution of 176 x 220 pixels and a 2 megapixel camera (no auto focus). Beside that the Sony Ericsson F305 also sports stereo loud speakers, stereo Bluetooth (that’s A2DP for the nerd group) and stereo FM radio.
The highlight of the Sony Ericsson F305 is the accelerometer-enabled portable gaming. There are three games pre-installed on the device (Bowling, Bass fishing and Jockey) and they all employ its built-in sensor. Additional motion games developed by Gameloft are available for download at PlayNow.
The Sony Ericsson F305 will be available in Polar White and Mystic Black from Q3 2008. Pricing is yet unknown.
The Sony Ericsson S302 comes under the Snapshot series, which pretty much says it all. The Sony Ericsson S302 is armed with quad-band GSM/EDGE support, a 2 megapixel camera without auto focus and 2-inch TFT display with a resolution of 176 x 220 pixels. A FM radio, M2 card slot, stereo Bluetooth and USB port are also on board.

The Sony Ericsson S302 will start shipping in early Q4 2008.
Sony Ericsson announced two of low-end handsets, features dust-resistant keypads and LED flashlights.
First off is the Sony Ericsson K330, which flaunts a VGA camera (with video recording) and a 1.7-inch TFT display with a resolution of 128 x 160 pixels. It also has 10MB of internal memory, MP3 ringtones support, Bluetooth, FM radio and a LED flashlight.

The dual-band GSM enabled Sony Ericsson K330 will be available in Gold on Black and Green on Black color combos in Q3 2008.
The Sony Ericsson J132 doesn’t have a camera on-board but offers a dust-resistant keypad and a LED flashlight along with a built-in FM radio. The Sony Ericsson J132 will have a 1.5-inch display with a resolution of 128 x 128 pixels.

The Sony Ericsson J132 has 4MB of internal memory and has dual-band GSM support and some nice battery times. It will be available in Night Black and Heaven Blue in Q3 2008.
