Newly Announced Sony Ericsson Handsets

Sony Ericsson has just announced their 5 newest handsets today. Starting with the 8 megapixel shooter Sony Ericsson C905 Cyber-Shot, followed by the Wii-like gaming device Sony Ericsson F305 along with other rest midrange/low-end device – the S302, the K330 and the J132.
Sony Ericsson C905 Cyber-Shot
Equipped with an 8.1 megapixel camera, Sony Ericsson C905 will be the next Cyber-shot flagship handset. Autofocus feature, face detection, image and video stabilization, red-eye reduction, BestPic, Smart Contrast, both a xenon flash and a photo flash, as well as geotagging complete the camera feature set. Also the Sony Ericsson C905 comes with a built-in accelerometer for screen auto rotation, TV-out port, Wi-Fi support. The scratch-resistant 2.4″ QVGA TFT color display will be the viewfinder when the device is operated as camera.
The Sony Ericsson C905’s dimension 104 x 49 x 19.5mm, and 136g weight. Features GSM/EDGE connectivity with UMTS – HSDPA support, not to forget the stereo Bluetooth, USB, and FM radio with RDS.
The Sony Ericsson C905 will be sold in early Q4 2008, with Copper-Gold, Ice-Silver, and Night-Black color version. a 2 GB Memory Stick Micro M2 is included in the box. No info on the price yet.
Sony Ericsson F305
Next are the Sony Ericsson F305 and the Sony Ericsson S302. Both are midrange device but the F305 got some nice gaming features to offer.
With the built-in accelerometer, the Sony Ericsson F305 gives an incredible gaming capabilities in this segment of price. This device packed with 2″ TFT color display (176 x 220 pixel resolution), a 2 megapixel snapper (no auto focus), stereo loud speakers, Bluetooth with A2DP profile support, and FM radio.
What’s cool in this device is the motion-based gaming, using the built-in accelerometer. Installed with 3 games — Bowling, Bass Fishing, and Jockey — user can install more motion games into the device.
The Sony Ericsson F305 will be sold in Q3 this year, and will be available in PolarWhite and MysticBlack color version. No words on the price.
Sony Ericsson S302
The Sony Ericsson S302 comes under the Snapshot series. Packed with quad-band GSM-EDGE support, a 2 megapixel camera (no AF), and 2″ TFT color display (176 x 220 pixel resolution), FM radio, M2 card slot, Bluetooth, and USB port.
The Sony Ericsson S302 will hit the market in the beginning of Q4 2008.
Sony Ericsson announced two of low-end handsets, features dust-resistant keypads and LED flashlights.
Sony Ericsson K330
The last two are low-end devices. First one here is the Sony Ericsson K330, packed with VGA-camera and a LED flashlight, and a 1.7″ TFT color at 128×160 pixel resolution. This phone has 10MB onboard memory, MP3 files support, FM radio, bluetooth.
The Sony Ericsson K330 will be sold in Gold-Black and Green-Black color schemes, in Q3 2008.
Sony Ericsson J132
The second device here is the Sony Ericsson J132 which doesn’t have any camera, but only a LED flashlight. Offering a dust resistant keypads and 1.5″ display (128×128 pixel), features a FM radio and nice battery life. With 4MB onboard memory, Sony Ericsson J132 has dualband GSM support, and will be sold in Night Black and Heaven Blue color version at Q3 this year.
