On the next firmware update, the Nokia 5800 XpressMusic will introduce some cool new features such as an enhanced homescreen, kinetic scrolling, also improved camera performance and its response time.

The enhanced homescreen will be resembled with the one on the Nokia 5530 XpressMusic. And the kinetic scrolling — at this stage — will be applicable only in the homescreen, contact list, and web browser. Some say that this will be quite confusing having different scrolling functions on each different menu, but let’s just wait and try them ourselves to see how it works.

The other benefit that coming along with the next firmware update will the improved camera performance and its response time. Imagine having such a great mobile device like the Nokia 5800 XpressMusic with a fast response and a great camera. Sounds juicy, huh?

Anyway, the update will become available soon after the Nokia 5530 XpressMusic is launched.
