Yep, you heard that right.

The Nokia 6790 Surge — recently known as Mako — is now official as Nokia announce it today. This extraordinary-designed device armed with side-slide full QWERTY keyboard and runs on the S60 plus some advanced messaging features.

The other features which we’ve already heard before are including the 2.4″ QVGA 16-million color display and a 2 megapixel snapper, HSDPA support, Bluetooth, FM radio, USB and microSD cardslot, 2.5mm audio jack, etc. All features and functionality on the Nokia Surge are powered by a 1500 mAh battery, like the one on the E71.

Looking at these official pictures on the left, we couldn’t agree more if somebody says it looks so much better than the previous leak photos. Don’t you think?
