The long rumored and newest UIQ familiy member of Sony Ericsson phones, codenamed BeiBei, appeared on the FCC website as the Sony Ericsson G702.

Sony Ericsson G702 is equipped with a 3.2 megapixel camera, no words on auto focus feature. M2 memory expansion is also aboard. A three-position jog wheel and two scroll keys are in charge of navigation on the handset. Sony Ericsson G702 is using the latest 3.3 version of the Symbian UIQ user interface. The handset also features a built-in GPS receiver and navigation software, as well as Wi-Fi and 3G connectivity, Bluetooth, USB, and Touchscreen function.

The Sony Ericsson G702 will feature the Opera 9.5 web browser with Flash Lite 3 support. This means browsing flash-based web sites, which is still enough of a rarity among mobile phones. The final feature confirmed at this stage is Widgets support.
