The Sony Ericsson G702 (codenamed Beibei) were also cancelled for unknown reasons. But there was some bad claims mainly to its look and design, though it still counted as a nice smartphone with great features and functionality.

Word is, although Paris and Beibei were cancelled, they still sold in Asia.

The long rumored and newest UIQ familiy member of Sony Ericsson phones, codenamed BeiBei, appeared on the FCC website as the Sony Ericsson G702.

Sony Ericsson G702 is equipped with a 3.2 megapixel camera, no words on auto focus feature. M2 memory expansion is also on-board. A three-position jog wheel and two scroll-keys are there as the navigation keys. Sony Ericsson G702 is using the latest 3.3 version of the Symbian UIQ user interface. The handset also features a built-in GPS receiver and navigation software, as well as Wi-Fi and 3G connectivity, Bluetooth, USB, and Touchscreen function.

The Sony Ericsson G702 will feature the Opera 9.5 web browser with Flash Lite 3 support. This makes the device able to browse flash-based websites, which not every smartphone can do. The final feature confirmed at this stage is Widgets support.
