The Nokia 6790 Surge — recently known as Mako — is now official as Nokia announce it today. This extraordinary-designed device armed with side-slide full QWERTY keyboard and runs on the S60 plus some advanced messaging features.

The other features which we’ve already heard before are including the 2.4″ QVGA 16-million color display and a 2 megapixel snapper, HSDPA support, Bluetooth, FM radio, USB and microSD cardslot, 2.5mm audio jack, etc. All features and functionality on the Nokia Surge are powered by a 1500 mAh battery, like the one on the E71.

Looking at these official pictures on the left, we couldn’t agree more if somebody says it looks so much better than the previous leak photos. Don’t you think?

The Nokia Surge will comes with more services exclusively from AT&T such as AT&T Navigator, AT&T Music, AT&T Mobile Banking, Yellowpages, MobiTV, Video Share, etc. So if you’re interested with those, check out their online shop.

[ Motorola Ming A1600 ]

Moto-Ming A1600 packed with a 2.4″ 262k TFT color display with QVGA resolution – and its a touchscreen. It’s sad but it’s true that Ming A1600 doesn’t have 3G support and Wi-fi, just as it was rumored. Armed with 3 megapixel auto-focus camera, microSD card-slot supporting upto 4GB of storage, Bluetooth, microUSB, FM radio, GPS receiver. The business card scanner is one of the unique feature on Ming A1600, which able to snap a picture of a sign or even texts and translate it using the dictionary app. The Ming A1600‘s dimension is 98.9 x 53.5 x 19.6mm and 128g weight, definetely not included in compact devices category.

Still no info on price and availability yet.

[ Motorola Ming A1800 ]

The Moto-Ming A1800 shares most of A1600 features and specs. The same 2.4″ touchscreen display, 3 megapixel auto-focus snapper, microSD card-slot expanding storage upto 4GB, Bluetooth with A2DP profile, built-in GPS receiver, and Linux operating-system. Unfortunately, no 3G and Wi-fi again.

However, Moto-Ming A1800 is packed with 2 radio transceivers, to simultaneously operate in GSM and CDMA networks. Some people would take this as a huge advantage, again, some people, not all people.

It also got no info on its price and availability.

Sony Ericsson C905 Cyber-Shot

Equipped with an 8.1 megapixel camera, Sony Ericsson C905 will be the next Cyber-shot flagship handset. Autofocus feature, face detection, image and video stabilization, red-eye reduction, BestPic, Smart Contrast, both a xenon flash and a photo flash, as well as geotagging complete the camera feature set. Also the Sony Ericsson C905 comes with a built-in accelerometer for screen auto rotation, TV-out port, Wi-Fi support. The scratch-resistant 2.4″ QVGA TFT color display will be the viewfinder when the device is operated as camera.

The Sony Ericsson C905‘s dimension 104 x 49 x 19.5mm, and 136g weight. Features GSM/EDGE connectivity with UMTS – HSDPA support, not to forget the stereo Bluetooth, USB, and FM radio with RDS.

The Sony Ericsson C905 will be sold in early Q4 2008, with Copper-Gold, Ice-Silver, and Night-Black color version. a 2 GB Memory Stick Micro M2 is included in the box. No info on the price yet.

Sony Ericsson F305

Next are the Sony Ericsson F305 and the Sony Ericsson S302. Both are midrange device but the F305 got some nice gaming features to offer.

With the built-in accelerometer, the Sony Ericsson F305 gives an incredible gaming capabilities in this segment of price. This device packed with 2″ TFT color display (176 x 220 pixel resolution), a 2 megapixel snapper (no auto focus), stereo loud speakers, Bluetooth with A2DP profile support, and FM radio.

What’s cool in this device is the motion-based gaming, using the built-in accelerometer. Installed with 3 games — Bowling, Bass Fishing, and Jockey — user can install more motion games into the device.

The Sony Ericsson F305 will be sold in Q3 this year, and will be available in PolarWhite and MysticBlack color version. No words on the price.

Sony Ericsson S302

The Sony Ericsson S302 comes under the Snapshot series. Packed with quad-band GSM-EDGE support, a 2 megapixel camera (no AF), and 2″ TFT color display (176 x 220 pixel resolution), FM radio, M2 card slot, Bluetooth, and USB port.

The Sony Ericsson S302 will hit the market in the beginning of Q4 2008.

Sony Ericsson announced two of low-end handsets, features dust-resistant keypads and LED flashlights.

Sony Ericsson K330

The last two are low-end devices. First one here is the Sony Ericsson K330, packed with VGA-camera and a LED flashlight, and a 1.7″ TFT color at 128×160 pixel resolution. This phone has 10MB onboard memory, MP3 files support, FM radio, bluetooth.

The Sony Ericsson K330 will be sold in Gold-Black and Green-Black color schemes, in Q3 2008.

Sony Ericsson J132

The second device here is the Sony Ericsson J132 which doesn’t have any camera, but only a LED flashlight. Offering a dust resistant keypads and 1.5″ display (128×128 pixel), features a FM radio and nice battery life. With 4MB onboard memory, Sony Ericsson J132 has dualband GSM support, and will be sold in Night Black and Heaven Blue color version at Q3 this year.

The Nokia E71 and Nokia E66 are now official. Most people would fall to the 10mm slim-body of the E71 since it’s the thinnest device ever released by Nokia.

Nokia E71

Being a successor of the E61, the Nokia E71 armed with full QWERTY keypad, but much stylish since the waistline only 10mm and shiny mirror-finish metal instead of the plastic look of E61. Lots of E series features are packed inside its slim body; including Wifi, HSDPA, A-GPS and Nokia Maps, a 3 megapixel camera that able to record video in VGA resolution at 22fps and also a front-facing camera for 3G video calls. The display has shrunk to 2.36″ since the overall size is smaller. Nokia E71 powered by a 1500mAh battery promising 20days of standby time, 10.5hours of GSM talk, and 4.5hours of 3G talk. The microSD card slot allow user to expand the storage up to 8GB.

Some people will need more time than usual to get used to the smaller size QWERTY keypads, but they’ll forget about it in a minute giving the nice look and incredibly thin body. The Nokia E71 will available in grey-steel and white-steel.

Nokia E66

The Nokia E66 comes as a business device just like the E71 only without the QWERTY keypad, and also as a successor of the E65. Features a 3.2 megapixel autofocus camera and front camera, a 2.4″ TFT color display, built-in accelerometer, HSDPA, Wifi, A-GPS with Nokia Maps, infrared port (duh?), microUSB port, Bluetooth with A2DP profile support, microSD card slot supporting up to 8GB storage expansion.

Email messaging is the highlight of both devices as they both support a wide range of personal and corporate email standards such as Microsoft Exchange, Gmail, Yahoo! Mail, Hotmail, Nokia Intellisync Wireless Email solution, as well as System Seven and Visto Mobile. These new Symbian smartphones also come with a new switch mode for switching between personal and work home screens. Encryption is also on board as well as mobile VPN support.

Both Nokia E71 and Nokia E66 are expected to begin selling in July.

Runs on WindowsMobile 6.1, the HTC Touch Pro gives us a fast data-transfer with HSDPA support, 512 on-board memory, 288MB RAM, microSD cardslot, a nice and big 2.8″ VGA touch-screen display, 3.2 megapixel auto-focus camera, built-in GPS receiver, powered by a 1350 mAh battery. And the newly-designed 5 row full QWERTY keyboard will absolutely gives us a really hard time choosing between this powerful-beauty with other devices out there.

Also, the HTC Touch Pro packed with the latest Touch-FLO 3D UI for intuitive touch based operations. In addition, it’s pre-installed with the new Opera 9.5 and YouTube client application (developed by HTC), offering us a totally unmatched web-browsing experience.

The HTC Touch Pro will start selling Europe, Asia, and Middle-East in late summer. North American and Latin-American will get their versions of HTC Touch Pro later in 2008.
