Yahoo Go! 3.0 was announced at June 17th and forms the foundation of Yahoo’s renewed focus on its mobile strategy. Yahoo Go! is essentially a single program which sits on almost any mobile phone and allows you to access your mail and messenger accounts along with other news services.

Now in its third iteration, Yahoo Go! user can look forward to the new MTV Asia widget which provides the latest in music videos. Yahoo oneSearch is now voice-enabled for search strings, as long as you have a BlackBerry (Pearl, Curve or 8800 series) and reside in India or Singapore.

Finally, a new SMS email service will be launched in India. This application polls email data and sends it to your mobile phone as an SMS. It also allows you to reply via the same method without having to search for a PC.
